‘Yes We Camp’ Activists Hit Spanish Streets- This Might Be The Beginning of the End

‘Yes we camp’ activists hit Spanish streets – Opinion – Al Jazeera English.

The younger people of the world are banding together, and they are really changing things. Some are older, some younger, but the view of the majority is progressively changing. The people are starting to move toward a different place. Away from ignorance, from capitalistic control, from oppression. Away from dictatorships and oligarchies, from pretentious two-party systems, away from the few exploiting the many. We move toward “the end” of the world in 2012. The end of wars, end of child labor, regimes. The end of living in the past, end of blind following, end of life as we know. We move to the next step of evolution, an evolution of the mind. Toward love, peace, and understanding. Toward embracing the life of the bonobo, and not the chimp. Toward equal rights for all; no unequal balance of power. Toward a new world, free of stigmatism, hate, racism, bigotry, classism, sexism, exploitation, and xenophobia. Toward a brighter future for all. Tu vida es ahora (your life is right now).

Words of Wisdom by Noam

“If you look at history, even recent history, you see that there is indeed progress. . . . Over time, the cycle is clearly, generally upwards. And it doesn’t happen by laws of nature. And it doesn’t happen by social laws. . . . It happens as a result of hard work by dedicated people who are willing to look at problems honestly, to look at them without illusions, and to go to work chipping away at them, with no guarantee of success — in fact, with a need for a rather high tolerance for failure along the way, and plenty of disappointments.”

Caroline Casey: Looking Past Limits

Quote by Foucault

“I was telling you earlier about the three elements in my morals. They are (1) the refusal to accept as self-evident the things that are proposed to us; (2) the need to analyze and to know, since we can accomplish nothing without reflection and understanding, thus, the principle of curiosity; and (3) the principle of innovation: to seek out in our reflection those things that have never been thought or imagined. Thus: refusal, curiosity, innovation.” -Michel Foucault
